Tears to Hope 10km Walk

The VLC’s Women & Gender Rights Committee is organizing a 10km walk around Elk Lake on Sunday May 31 to mirror the Tears to Hope relay in Northern BC.
The Tears to Hope Society is an Indigenous-led organization with the primary focus of supporting families of Missing and Murdered loved ones. Funds raised will go to supporting their efforts.
The VLC WGRC will sponsor up to 10 participants to walk in honour of MMIWG2S. This is a chance to gather collectively and actively participate in an action of remembrance in our own small way. This is open to all delegates. Interested delegates can check the number of spots available HERE.
